The K-Skip S3S is a safety shoe from the Kaptiv collection, built for anyone who spends long hours standing or walking on hard floors and needs dependable protection they can rely on all day. Its ergonomic design targets both efficiency and comfort, backed by a Fresh'n Flex ultra-lightweight midsole and a Dry'n Air comfort insole that keeps feet feeling fresh.
The upper is made from a water-repellent technical fabric that keeps moisture out without restricting freedom of movement. The antibacterial, odour-inhibiting lining helps prevent unpleasant smells building up during long shifts, a real benefit for anyone wearing the shoe throughout the working day. The PU/rubber outsole is built for durability and heavy use, making this a rugged companion for daily work.
On the protection side, the K-Skip meets EN ISO 20345:2022 +A1:2024 in class S3S with the additional markings ESD, HRO, FO and SR. The aluminium toe cap withstands an impact of 200 joules, guarding toes against crushing and impact, while the 3mm puncture-resistant midsole protects against sharp objects underfoot. ESD identifies the antistatic construction that protects electronic equipment from electrostatic discharge, HRO indicates heat resistance up to 300°C for one minute, and SR ensures reliable grip on slippery surfaces thanks to testing on ceramic and glycerine. The rubber outsole is also fuel- and oil-resistant, making the shoe suitable for environments where these substances are present. The orthopaedic, custom-fitted footbed complies with the European DGUV 112-191 standards, supporting healthy foot positioning throughout the working day.
With this combination of features, the K-Skip S3S suits industry, trades and logistics work, anywhere mechanical hazards, electrostatic charge and slippery floors are all part of the job.
