The B0850 is a safety boot designed for particularly cold and demanding working conditions. Instead of traditional laces, the BOA® closure system allows fast, precise adjustment even while wearing gloves, and separate men's and women's width options let you tailor the fit to your foot shape.
The waterproof waxed leather upper with H2-Stop membrane keeps moisture out reliably, while the thermal textile lining keeps feet warm even when temperatures drop to -17°C outside. An added toe cap increases abrasion resistance at high-wear points, extending the boot's service life on tough job sites. The orthopaedic, custom-moulded footbed, compliant with DGUV 112-191, adds comfort through long shifts.
As an S3-rated boot to EN ISO 20345:2011, the B0850 features a toe cap rated to 200 joules of impact resistance and a puncture-resistant, slip-resistant sole (SRC). The additional markings WR, CI and HRO indicate that the whole boot is waterproof, cold-insulated, and that the sole resists hot contact surfaces up to 300°C for one minute. Antistatic properties dissipate static charge, heel-area shock absorption reduces joint strain, and hydrocarbon resistance protects against oil and fuel exposure.
This makes the B0850 well suited to outdoor work in winter conditions, such as construction, cold storage and refrigerated logistics, emergency services, or building sites exposed to changing weather.
