The B1001 from the Kaptiv collection is a safety shoe built for anyone working on construction sites, in industrial settings or in skilled trades who needs footwear they can rely on. Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 S3S, it delivers comprehensive protection against the everyday hazards of manual work and is available in both men's and women's width fittings.
The water-repellent upper keeps moisture out without making the shoe feel heavy or stiff underfoot. The orthopaedic, custom-fit footbed meets the DGUV 112-191 standard and delivers noticeable comfort even during long shifts, while heel-area shock absorption takes the strain off joints with every step.
The toe cap withstands an impact of 200 joules, offering reliable protection against crushing injuries, while the puncture-resistant sole significantly reduces the risk of injury from sharp objects underfoot. Heat resistance up to 300°C for one minute and cold insulation down to -17°C keep the shoe performing reliably in extreme temperatures. The hydrocarbon-resistant sole adds resilience against oils and fuels, and the SR slip resistance, achieved through a ceramic and glycerine compound, provides secure grip on smooth or contaminated floors.
This makes the B1001 well suited to construction sites, metalworking and industrial environments, and any job where wet conditions, cold, sharp debris or slippery surfaces are part of the daily routine.
