The B1005 from the Kaptiv collection is a safety shoe built for anyone who needs dependable foot protection on the job without sacrificing comfort. With both men's and women's width options and a size range from 36 to 48, it accommodates a wide variety of feet, and it comes in three colourways to suit different working environments.
An orthopaedic, custom-shaped footbed that meets the requirements of DGUV 112-191 provides anatomically adapted support and eases strain during long hours on your feet. Heel-area shock absorption further cushions impact with every step, which makes a real difference on hard flooring over the course of a shift.
The toe cap withstands impacts of up to 200 joules, guarding reliably against knocks and crushing. The 3mm puncture-resistant sole stops sharp objects from piercing through from below, while hydrocarbon resistance keeps the shoe unaffected by oils and fuels. Heat resistance of up to 300°C for one minute protects against brief contact with hot surfaces, and the SR slip resistance, achieved through a ceramic and glycerine outsole, delivers secure footing even on slippery floors. Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 +A1:2024 (S1PS with the additional SC, HRO, FO and SR features), the B1005 covers a broad range of requirements for jobs with an elevated risk of foot injury.
