This high vis vest from Blaklader is designed for anyone who needs to stay visible on the road or on site without being weighed down by bulky gear. It is kept deliberately lightweight and slips easily over your existing workwear, while side openings let you reach the pockets of the clothing underneath. The front zip makes it quick to put on and take off, even with gloves on or in a hurry.
The outer fabric is a 100% polyester knit with an anti-pilling finish, a material that feels sturdy to the touch, holds its shape, and does not wear thin after repeated use. At 120 g/m², the fabric is light enough to wear comfortably in warmer conditions yet tough enough for daily work on site or roadside. Details such as the taped neckline, V-neck and extended back give the vest a practical fit, while the concealable ID pocket, document pocket, and radio loop take care of everyday work needs.
The vest is certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 3, meaning it offers a high level of visibility through extensive reflective and fluorescent material, the kind of protection required for high-risk work near moving traffic. The 50 mm wide reflective stripes run across the body as well as the sleeves and shoulders, helping you get noticed from as many angles as possible. Note that sizes XS/S only reach Class 2, with full Class 3 achieved from size S/M upward.
This makes the vest well suited to tradespeople, drivers, and road or construction workers who regularly work close to moving traffic or in poorly lit areas and need to be seen reliably.
