The FR449 from the Bizflame™ Work collection is a flame-resistant, multi-norm protective trouser built for people working in environments with heat, welding sparks or molten metal risks. It protects against radiant, convective and contact heat, and carries certified Class 2 welding protection plus certified protection against molten metal splashes, making it suitable for demanding industrial work.
The ergonomic design keeps you moving freely and stays comfortable and breathable even with all that protective build-up. An elastic waistband at the back moves with you for a secure fit, while the extendable leg length (31" to 33") allows the trousers to be adjusted to the wearer. The sturdy brass zip is fitted as a concealed closure, shielding it from damage and heat, and the contrast stitching reflects the careful construction throughout.
Ten pockets make the trousers genuinely practical on site: two side pockets, a rule pocket, a cargo pocket, a concealed phone pocket, plus height-adjustable knee pad pockets with two positioning options. A hammer loop and two adjustable buckled braces complete the setup. The fabric is rated UPF 40+, blocking 98% of UV rays, and the trousers are also suitable for use in ATEX environments and are CE certified. An external norm label lets you check the protection levels at a glance.
The FR449 is aimed at welders, electricians and workers across oil, gas and process industries who need dependable heat and flame protection without sacrificing comfort on long shifts.
