The Aluflame Work FR work trousers are designed for people working in aluminium, iron and steel plants, where molten metal and welding are part of daily operations. The inherently flame-resistant fabric from the Aluflame™ collection was developed specifically for these demanding environments and delivers a level of protection well beyond standard workwear.
The fabric withstands industrial washing up to 75° and tunnel drying up to 155°, making these trousers suitable for regular use in facilities with professional laundry processes without compromising their protective performance. Day-to-day comfort comes from the half-elastic waistband, which keeps the fit secure yet comfortable, while four pockets, including a rule pocket and a set-in back pocket, provide ample storage for tools and small items. The extendable leg length of 31 to 33 inches allows the trousers to be adjusted to different body sizes.
In terms of protection, the trousers offer maximum protection against molten aluminium as well as certified protection against molten metal splash and meet Class 2 welding protection. They are CE-CAT III certified and suitable for use in ATEX environments, meaning areas where explosive atmospheres may occur. The 40+ UPF rated fabric also blocks 98 percent of UV rays, adding protection for outdoor work in direct sunlight.
This makes the Aluflame Work FR trousers well suited to workers in metal processing, foundries and welding, where sparks, metal splash and high temperatures are an everyday occupational risk.
