Product information "teXXor Leather Arm Cuff"
The teXXor® leather arm guard is a straightforward, hard-wearing arm protector for anyone who needs to shield their forearms from sparks, swarf, sharp edges or heat while working. At 45 cm long it covers the arm generously, and the hanging loop keeps it within easy reach when not in use.
Made from 100% split cowhide leather about 1.2 mm thick, the arm guard delivers exactly the sturdiness you'd expect from a leather protector: resistant to mechanical wear and heat, yet tough enough for daily use in demanding environments. The firm leather makes its presence felt through its stability, without restricting freedom of movement more than necessary.
The arm guard doesn't fall under a specific PPE category, but the robust split cowhide leather still provides solid basic mechanical protection for the forearm, for example against abrasion, sparks or contact with rough surfaces.
It's used wherever arms take a beating on the job: in vehicle and aircraft manufacturing, forestry, gardening and agriculture, foundry work, mechanical engineering, and the metalworking industry.
