The teXXor® ARAMID fine-knit glove is designed for anyone who needs protection from both heat and sharp edges on the job. Its seamless construction gives a comfortable fit with no seams to rub or catch, making it a good choice for tasks that demand dexterity and freedom of movement.
The outer layer is made entirely of aramid fibre, knitted in a fine 13-gauge pattern with an elasticated knit cuff that keeps the glove securely in place on the wrist. This fine-knit fabric keeps the glove breathable, so it stays comfortable even during longer wear rather than feeling bulky or causing the hands to overheat, a real advantage compared to thicker protective gloves.
In terms of protection, the glove meets EN ISO 21420:2020, the base standard for protective gloves, and EN 388:2016+A1:2018 for mechanical risks such as cuts and abrasion. EN 407:2020 confirms its thermal performance: the glove withstands contact heat of up to 100°C for a maximum of 15 seconds, making it suitable for work near hot surfaces. As Category II PPE, it is intended for medium-level risks.
This combination of heat and cut resistance makes the glove well suited to trades such as metalworking, mechanical engineering, locksmithing, workshops, tyre and auto centres, and metal and glass processing.
