The teXXor® cut-resistant knit gloves with sanded nitrile coating are built for work where the hands face serious cutting hazards but dexterity still matters. The seamless knit cuff gives an ergonomic fit that hugs the hand closely without restricting movement, making the glove comfortable enough for extended wear.
The carrier material, a blend of high performance polyethylene, polyester, glass fibre, steel and spandex, combines strong cut resistance with flexibility and breathability. The black nitrile palm coating has a sanded finish that provides a secure grip even on oily or slightly damp surfaces and tools. At a palm thickness of around 1.8 mm and roughly 13 gauge, the glove stays impressively thin and agile despite its tough fibre composition, allowing for more precise tasks as well. Touchscreen compatibility also means devices can be operated without removing the glove.
In terms of protection, the glove is tested to EN ISO 21420:2020+A1:2024 and EN 388:2016+A1:2018 and delivers a high level of cut resistance, formerly rated Class 5 under EN 388:2003 - the top level on that scale. This makes it suitable for tasks involving sharp-edged materials or tools where injury risk is real. As Category II PPE, it covers medium-risk hazards.
Typical applications include general trades, mechanical engineering, locksmith and workshop environments, metal and glass processing, waste management and recycling, as well as agriculture, forestry and horticulture.
