The teXXor® cut-resistant knit glove without coating is designed for anyone who needs dependable cut protection in dry working conditions but doesn't want to sacrifice freedom of movement or finger sensitivity. Leaving out a coating keeps the glove light and breathable, making it a strong choice for tasks that require the glove to be worn for extended periods.
The blended fabric of polyethylene, elastane, nylon and elastic yarn is knitted in a fine 13-gauge construction with a knitted cuff. This gives the glove an ergonomic, close-fitting shape that moves with the hand and stays out of the way even during more detailed work. A palm thickness of around 1.1 mm provides enough substance for genuine protection while keeping the fingers flexible, so hands stay noticeably fresher than with stiffer gloves.
On the protection side, the glove meets EN ISO 21420:2020+A1:2024, the base standard for protective gloves, and additionally EN 388:2016+A1:2018, which covers mechanical risks such as cut, abrasion and tear resistance. This makes it suitable for tasks where sharp-edged materials or tools pose a risk to the hands, though the absence of a coating means its use is best kept to dry environments.
Typical applications include general trade work in mechanical engineering, locksmith shops and workshops, metal and glass processing, as well as waste management, recycling, and packaging and sorting operations – anywhere cut protection is needed without giving up dexterity and a good feel for the material.
