The SECJA511 welding protection jacket from the Mauser product line is built for anyone working in welding or similarly heat-exposed environments. With its turn-down collar, concealed button placket and well-organised pocket layout, it looks the part for daily use on site, whether ordered as a single piece or as part of a larger workwear procurement.
The jacket is made from 100% cotton weighing 530 g/m², finished with a SECAN treatment. This heavyweight cotton fabric feels sturdy and secure against the skin, moves well with the body, and its substantial weight gives the kind of solid, dependable feel expected from welding workwear. Two chest pockets and two side pockets, each with flaps and concealed button fastenings, plus two stitched-on inner chest pockets with hook-and-loop closure, provide plenty of storage without leaving buttons or zips exposed to catch sparks. Reflective stripes on the upper sleeves and running vertically down both sides of the shoulder yoke add extra visibility on the job.
The jacket is certified to EN ISO 11612, the standard for protective clothing against heat and flame. In practice, this means the fabric is finished to protect the wearer against brief exposure to heat, sparks or open flame, exactly the kind of hazard encountered when welding or doing related work. Combined with the concealed button placket and covered pocket fastenings, the jacket avoids exposed hardware that could otherwise catch sparks.
