The SECJA01 welding protection jacket from the Mauser product line is built for welders and anyone whose daily work involves sparks and heat exposure. Its concealed button placket, stand-up collar with hook-and-loop fastening, and practical pocket layout, two side pockets, two chest pockets and two inner chest pockets, offer plenty of storage without compromising protection, since all outer pockets close with flaps and concealed press studs. Snap-button cuff adjustment on the sleeves ensures a secure, tailored fit.
The fabric is 100% cotton at a substantial 530 g/m², finished with SECAN treatment. This heavyweight, hard-wearing construction is built to withstand demanding welding work while still feeling comfortable against the skin and offering better grip and handling than lightweight synthetic fabrics. Reflective trim running around the body and upper arms, plus 5 cm wide shoulder stripes connecting to the body band, adds visibility on site or in the workshop.
The jacket is certified to EN ISO 11612, the standard for protective clothing against heat and flame. In practical terms, this means the fabric resists contact with flames and withstands thermal stress from radiant heat, convective heat or molten metal splashes, exactly the hazards welding work typically produces. As PPE Category II, the jacket is designed to protect against medium-level risks.
This makes the SECJA01 a solid choice for welders, metalworkers and fabricators, and for any trade where sparks and heat exposure are part of the daily routine. Beyond the blue version, the jacket is also available in orange-blue, with sizes ranging from 46 to 114 across 16 options.
