The Stronghand® S 53 F gloves are welding gloves made from yellow split cowhide, built for jobs involving high heat exposure. With a cuff length of around 35 cm, they extend protection well beyond the wrist, making them suitable for tasks where sparks or splashes could reach the forearm. Available in sizes 10.5 and 12, they suit industrial users and tradespeople alike who need dependable hand protection.
The gloves are made from selected top split leather, with the palm, back of hand and cuff all crafted from split leather, lined throughout with cotton for a more comfortable feel during extended wear. Corded seams protect the stitching from abrasion and add to the gloves' overall durability under demanding daily use. Leather of this quality stays grippy and sturdy without sacrificing the flexibility needed to handle tools and materials.
The gloves are certified to EN 388, which covers protection against mechanical risks such as abrasion, cuts, tearing and puncture, and to DIN EN 12477 type A, the standard for welders' protective gloves. Type A indicates gloves with a higher level of protection, for example against greater heat and spark exposure, though with somewhat less finger dexterity than type B.
