The TCSC apron from the Tychem 2000 range is a disposable protective apron designed for tasks where clothing and skin need protection from contact with liquids and biological hazards. Cut to calf length and made in one universal size, it is secured with ties at the neck and waist for an adjustable, individual fit.
The apron is made from a polyethylene spunbond fabric with a polymer coating. This construction creates a liquid-repellent surface while keeping the material light and flexible, so the apron remains comfortable to wear throughout the working day. Its antistatic finish reduces static build-up, which matters in environments where flammable dusts or vapours are present.
The apron is certified to EN 14126, the standard for protective clothing against infective agents, meaning the material forms a barrier against biologically contaminated liquids and particles. Classified as PPE Category III, Type 3B, it is intended for protection against liquid chemicals in spray form, making it suitable for tasks with an increased risk of contamination.
This makes the TCSC a practical choice for cleaning work, food processing, laboratory and hospital settings, and other areas involving contact with liquids or biological hazards. Supplied in packs of 25, it is easy to stock in larger quantities for facilities with a regular need for disposable protective wear.
