The Steelite Met Safety Boot S3M is designed for work environments where falling or rolling objects pose a real risk. Alongside the standard steel toe cap, an integrated metatarsal guard specifically protects the sensitive metatarsal bones – a feature that standard boots typically lack and one that matters when heavy loads are part of the job. XRD Poron technology adds extra cushioning exactly where it counts in the metatarsal area.
The water-repellent upper keeps moisture out, while the angled top line and padded collar allow greater freedom of movement and comfort even during long shifts. The composite midsole is puncture-resistant and antistatic at the same time, making the boot suitable for use in sensitive working environments. The dual-density sole combines stability with a comfortable roll, and is also resistant to fuel and oil.
The boot is CE certified and UKCA marked, meeting the requirements of protection class S3M: this means toe protection via steel cap, a puncture-resistant midsole, antistatic properties, and the added metatarsal guard. The SRC-rated outsole also offers proven slip resistance on ceramic and steel surfaces, reducing the risk of slipping or tripping on typical industrial flooring.
This makes the Steelite S3M particularly well suited to mining, oil and gas, utilities and construction work – anywhere heavy objects can fall or roll underfoot and dependable, rugged footwear is essential.
