The FC38 composite boot is built for anyone working on demanding, uneven ground who doesn't want to trade comfort for protection. Instead of standard laces, it uses a wire lacing system that adjusts and releases with one hand in seconds – useful when feet swell over a long shift or the boot needs to come off quickly.
The upper is made from full-grain leather, chosen for its long-term durability and ability to hold up to daily wear on site. A padded collar and padded, bellows-style tongue keep the fit comfortable over long hours while also helping to keep water out. An EVA footbed and a angled top edge add further comfort and freedom of movement around the ankle.
On the protection side, the FC38 meets S3L HRO SR FO SC. The non-metallic toe cap guards against impact and compression, while the puncture-resistant composite midsole protects against sharp objects underfoot. The outsole is heat-resistant up to 300°C (HRO), slip-resistant (SR), and resistant to oil and fuel (FO), and the footwear is antistatic (SC). Because all metal components are replaced with composite materials, the boot is also suitable for environments requiring nickel- and iron-free, non-magnetic footwear, such as around metal detectors or sensitive equipment.
Reflective details improve visibility in low light, making the FC38 a solid choice for construction, outdoor and logistics work where all-day comfort and reliable protection both matter.
