The Udine safety shoe from Feldtmann is built for anyone who needs a metal-free, ESD-rated safety shoe for daily industrial use. Its upper in microfibre and textile material gives it a light, casual look more often associated with leisure footwear, yet it delivers full S3 protection. The black colourway with grey accents keeps things understated and works across a wide range of work environments.
The ergonomically shaped, padded shaft edge and the breathable inner lining keep the shoe comfortable even during long shifts. A textile dust flap keeps dirt and fine particles away from the foot, while the removable, anatomically shaped insole adapts to the foot and can be replaced when needed. Abrasion-resistant microfibre on the heel and a pull-on loop at the back make the shoe hard-wearing day to day while also easy to put on. Plastic quick-lace eyelets allow fast fastening without introducing any metal components.
The EN ISO 20345 S3 ESD SRC standard means the shoe has a plastic toe cap, a penetration-resistant textile midsole, and a slip-resistant, oil- and acid-resistant PU/PU outsole. The ESD rating marks the shoe as electrostatic dissipative, which matters in workplaces with sensitive electronics, while SRC confirms slip resistance on both ceramic tile with glycerine and steel with sodium lauryl sulphate. Being completely metal-free, the shoe is particularly suited to environments with metal detectors or sensitive electronic equipment, such as electronics manufacturing, logistics centres, or work involving delicate components.
