This helmet is built for work at height and suits anyone who needs reliable head protection with the character of a mountaineering helmet, whether on construction sites, masts, scaffolding or in climbing. The extended neck coverage and the small peak of about 2 cm keep the helmet secure during overhead work or in tight spaces without restricting visibility.
The shell is made from UV-stabilised ABS, while an EPS liner inside handles impact absorption. In practice this means a helmet that is both tough and light at around 400 g, staying comfortable even during longer shifts. The size range of 54 to 61 cm can be adjusted steplessly with one hand via the rotary dial, and the textile chin strap comes pre-fitted, is adjustable in length and held by a 4-point suspension for a secure fit even during movement. Front and rear ventilation openings plus headlamp strap holders make the helmet practical for varying conditions, and a temperature resistance from -30°C to +50°C allows use in extreme weather.
The helmet meets EN 12492, the standard for mountaineering helmets that specifically addresses falls and impacts encountered while climbing or working at height, and it additionally fulfils the shock absorption and penetration resistance requirements of EN 397:2012 + A1:2012, the standard applied to industrial safety helmets. This combination makes it suitable both for rope access work and for classic tasks involving fall or impact risk.
The helmet is suited to work at height such as scaffolding, mast and tower work, industrial rope access or rescue services, and is available in yellow, white, red and orange. With a service life of up to 5 years from the date of manufacture and a pack size of 10 units, it also works well for equipping whole teams.
