Product information "AUTOMATIC WELDING HELMET"
This auto-darkening welding helmet is built for anyone who switches between welding methods on a regular basis and needs head protection that keeps up without any delay when the lens darkens. According to its listed applications, it covers electrode, argon/helium, MIG/MAG, WIG/TIG and plasma welding as well as oxy-fuel cutting, making it a versatile choice for workshops and job sites where tasks change throughout the day.
The shell is made of polyamide and weighs around 528 grams, light enough to stay comfortable during longer welding sessions. The headband, adjustable from 54 to 61 cm with a turn-knob fastener, and the fitted fleece sweatband keep the fit secure without pinching. Power comes from a combination of a built-in battery and a solar cell, so the helmet doesn't rely on a single power source running out mid-shift.
The filter measures 110 x 90 mm and gives a viewing area of 96 x 39 mm, switching in just 0.2 milliseconds from a light state of DIN 4 to an adjustable dark range between DIN 9 and DIN 13. Optical class 1 means a clear, low-distortion view of the weld pool. Certified to EN ISO 16321 and EN 379, the helmet stays operational across a temperature range of -5°C to +55°C. Matching replacement lenses are available separately under item number 4019.
