The Ear-Tracers are disposable earplugs designed for workplaces with strict safety and hygiene requirements, such as food production environments. Their standout feature is metal detectability: if a plug is accidentally lost, it can be reliably located before contaminating a product. The blue colour of both the plugs and the connecting cord also makes visual checks easier on the production floor.
Their pre-shaped, flanged design allows them to be inserted quickly without rolling or lengthy fitting. The silicone rubber cord keeps both plugs connected, preventing them from being misplaced or dropped unnoticed during breaks. Weighing only around 7.5 grams, they are barely noticeable once inserted and remain comfortable over extended wear, including when combined with other personal protective equipment such as hairnets, face masks or safety glasses.
Certified to EN 352-2, the standard for hearing protection plugs, the Ear-Tracers deliver reliable noise reduction with an SNR rating of 29 dB. The additional H 30 dB, M 25 dB and L 24 dB values show that attenuation covers high, medium and low frequencies, protecting against both high-pitched machine noise and low-frequency rumble.
The Ear-Tracers are particularly suited to food industry operations where foreign-body safety is essential, though they also perform well in other noisy work environments. Supplied as bulk pack items with a minimum order of 50 pieces, they are designed to cover regular operational demand.
