The VenION powered air respirator actively feeds filtered air into a respiratory mask, taking noticeable strain off the wearer compared with purely filtering systems. It is built for anyone who needs to work under respiratory protection for extended periods, such as in dusty or heavily contaminated environments where standard half masks quickly reach their limits. As category III PPE, it is designed to guard against serious hazards and is built to a correspondingly high standard.
Airflow can be adjusted steplessly between 150 and 500 litres per minute, allowing the unit to match different workloads and breathing rates. This makes breathing under the mask noticeably easier, cuts down on visor fogging, and keeps the mask sitting more comfortably even across a full shift. An LED cable keeps the operating status clearly visible at all times, which is especially useful in poor lighting or when worn under protective clothing. With a runtime of 4 to 6 hours per charge, the unit comfortably covers a typical working shift.
CE certification to EN 12941 confirms the design as a powered air-purifying respirator used with a helmet or hood, verifying that airflow, fit, and filtration meet tested requirements. For the wearer, this means a reliable, continuous air supply that reduces breathing resistance and supports longer, less fatiguing work under respiratory protection. The unit is manufactured in Switzerland and available in blue.
