The VenION® C is a full-body protective suit with an integrated respiratory system, built for users who need both body and respiratory protection in a single certified piece of equipment. The built-in blower, delivering a flow rate of 150 to 500 l/min, supplies the wearer with a continuous stream of air, allowing unlimited wearing time with no breathing resistance – a real advantage over suits where the mask is worn separately and needs regular replacement.
The suit is made from Tychem C, with all seams fully heat-sealed to maintain the material's barrier performance across the entire garment. A horizontal front entry with a taped cover flap over the zipper closes off what is usually the most vulnerable point of a suit. The integrated boot socks are slip-resistant and feature an antistatic conductive sole, while the tightly fitted Camatril gloves keep the suit sealed at the hands as well. A highly transparent hood provides good visibility, and four covered air outlet valves in the hood and seat area manage airflow without compromising the seal.
As a certified complete system under EN 12941, used together with the VenION blower unit, the suit meets the requirements of PPE Category III, Type 3B – meaning it provides liquid-tight full-body protection against sprays and fine particles while supplying filtered breathing air at the same time. An interior pocket holds the blower unit, and an emergency tear-off strip allows the suit to be opened quickly if needed. This makes the VenION® C suitable for tasks that demand both skin and respiratory protection over extended periods, such as work involving hazardous substances or contaminated environments.
