The RUNNEX® GirlStar is an S2 safety shoe designed specifically for women's feet. Rather than a scaled-down men's model, it's built on a genuine women's last, which shows immediately in how it fits. Visually, the shoe stands out with its sporty, fashion-forward black and pink design, moving well away from the bulky look typically associated with safety footwear while still delivering full occupational protection.
The upper is made from hydrophobic nubuck leather with microfibre inserts, keeping moisture out and performing reliably in changing weather conditions. Inside, the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining keeps feet comfortable throughout the day, while the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining adds extra comfort around the heel and helps prevent chafing. The combination of a rubber outsole and Phylon midsole provides noticeable cushioning with every step, which makes a real difference during long hours on your feet or on hard flooring.
In terms of safety, the GirlStar is tested to EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 in protection class S2 FO, which includes a protective toe cap and a sole resistant to fuel oil. As PSA category II equipment, the shoe offers solid baseline protection for workplaces with mechanical hazards and exposure to moisture.
