The RUNNEX® ActionStar (item 5250) is an S2 ESD safety shoe designed for anyone in industry or trade who needs reliable protection combined with a modern look. Its black design with a transparent PU outsole and black PU midsole gives it a sporty appearance without compromising on safety. With width 11 and a size range from 36 to 48, it offers a fit fine-tuned for a wide variety of feet.
The upper, made from water-repellent textile material with TPU reinforcements and water-repellent microfibre material, keeps moisture out while staying pleasantly lightweight. Inside, the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining helps regulate the climate inside the shoe, while the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining adds extra comfort around the heel. Together, these features make the shoe well suited to long working days both indoors and outdoors.
Certified to EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 in class S2 FO, the shoe protects against water penetration from outside and resists fuel oil. The additional SR and LG markings indicate slip resistance and a secure heel fit. A key feature is the ESD protection according to EN 61340-5-1:2016, which safely dissipates electrostatic charge, making this shoe a suitable choice for electrostatically sensitive workplaces. Classified under PPE category II, it also meets the recommendations of DGUV112-191.
This makes the ActionStar particularly well suited to ESD workplaces as well as general use in industry and trade, whether indoors around sensitive electronics or outdoors on varying surfaces.
