The RUNNEX® ActionStar is an S2 safety lace-up boot designed for anyone working at ESD-sensitive workstations who still wants a comfortable fit. The black and blue design comes in width 11 and offers plenty of room inside the boot, available from size 36 to 48. This makes it a solid choice for classic industrial settings as well as trade businesses that need reliable footwear both indoors and outdoors.
The upper combines hydrophobic textile material with TPU reinforcements and hydrophobic microfibre material, which repels moisture instead of soaking it up. Inside, the RUNNEX® AIRSTREAM functional lining keeps your feet comfortable throughout the shift, while the RUNNEX® SOFTtouch heel lining provides a secure yet soft fit around the heel. The transparent PU outsole with a black PU midsole also gives the boot a distinctive look within the rugged safety footwear segment.
On the safety side, the ActionStar meets EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 in protection class S2 FO, meaning it protects against water penetration and offers fuel-resistant soles. The additional SR rating stands for slip resistance, while LG indicates suitability for extended wear during long shifts. The ESD feature, certified to EN 61340-5-1:2016, safely dissipates electrostatic charge to protect sensitive components and equipment. As PPE category II, the boot is built for tasks involving a medium level of risk, in line with DGUV112-191.
This makes the ActionStar a strong option for staff working at ESD workstations, such as in electronics manufacturing, as well as for industrial and trade environments where foot protection needs to combine slip resistance with all-day wearability.
