The Portwest Compositelite Traction is a tall safety boot built for anyone working on construction sites, outdoors, or in changing weather who needs reliable grip and dry feet throughout the day. Its 25cm high leg construction and quick-release zip allow for fast on and off without compromising on stability.
The boot combines water-resistant full-grain leather with a waterproof, breathable membrane that keeps moisture out while letting the foot breathe. A bellows tongue construction adds further protection against water getting in from the sides. The fully metal-free build keeps the weight down, which makes a real difference over long shifts, while the engineered ankle support and energy-absorbing seat area keep the boot comfortable even after hours on your feet.
Rated to safety class S3, the boot protects against mechanical hazards with a composite toe cap and a puncture-resistant composite midsole. The additional HRO, CI and WR markings mean the outsole resists heat up to 300°C, the boot offers cold insulation, and it is fully waterproof – a combination that suits extreme temperatures and wet conditions alike. The specially developed PU/rubber outsole is also fuel- and oil-resistant, slip-resistant, and built with a dual-density construction for durability, while the antistatic properties make the boot suitable for ESD environments.
