The PW3 Hi-Vis Rain Trousers Extreme are built for anyone working outdoors who needs to stay visible and dry while looking less bulky than traditional rainwear. The slimline fit and contemporary design give the trousers a more streamlined look than typical waterproofs, without giving up any of the practical features the job demands. Contrast panels also help disguise visible dirt, so the garment keeps looking sharp even after a hard shift.
The fabric is fully waterproof with welded seams that keep water out at the seams, the most vulnerable point of any rain garment. The PFAS-free Texpel Splash Eco finish makes water bead off the surface instead of soaking in, while the material stays breathable and windproof. In practice that means dry legs through sustained rain without trapping heat and moisture underneath. The raised, padded back panel keeps the lower back warm, useful during long shifts spent bending or working on cold ground. Side leg zips make it easy to pull the trousers on and off over boots, and the shaped hem sits cleanly over footwear.
The trousers are certified to EN ISO 20471, including after 25 washes, so visibility holds up over the working life of the garment. The reflective tape is heat-resistant and flame-retardant, and the fabric is rated UPF 40+, blocking 98% of UV rays. They're also CE certified, UKCA marked, and meet RIS 3279-TOM for the rail industry in the orange colourway.
With six pockets, including knee pad pockets, a rule pocket and cargo pockets, these trousers suit construction, groundworks, rail infrastructure and any role where visibility, weather protection and practical storage all matter.
