The PLANAM Functional Underwear Shirt with long sleeves and a fabric weight of 275 g/m² is the heavier option within the functional underwear range, built for jobs where temperatures drop. The round neck and cuffed sleeves keep the shirt close to the body, sealing out draughts without restricting movement. Available from size S up to 4XL, it fits a wide range of body types.
The fabric blend of 70% polyester (Cool Dry), 28% cotton and 2% elastane combines several qualities that matter on the job: the polyester wicks moisture away from the skin, the cotton content keeps the feel soft and comfortable against the skin, and the small amount of elastane gives the shirt the stretch needed for freedom of movement at work. In practice, this adds up to a base layer that stays comfortable even over long shifts, without pinching or chafing.
Worn as a base layer under workwear or weatherproof clothing, the shirt provides warmth on cold days, while the moisture-regulating Cool Dry fibre helps keep body temperature more balanced even as conditions shift throughout the day.
At 275 g/m², the shirt is particularly suited to outdoor and cold-environment work, including construction, metalworking, manufacturing, warehousing and logistics, electrical and building services installation, landscaping, and cold storage or freezer work.
