The PLANAM Cold Storage Overall from the Cold Storage/Freezing Facility collection is designed for anyone who regularly works in cold environments, whether in cold storage and freezer facilities, food production, or warehousing and logistics. As a one-piece garment in navy with a red lining, it covers the whole body and features a covered front zip closure plus a side zip with flap for easy, comfortable entry, even with gloves or bulky underlayers.
The outer shell is made of 100% nylon, giving it the toughness needed for the demanding conditions of cold storage work. Underneath, a padding of 100% polyester weighing approximately 250 g/m², combined with a polyester lining, creates a warming layer of insulation between the body and the cold. Knitted cuffs at the sleeves help seal out draughts without restricting freedom of movement.
When it comes to protection against cold, thermal insulation is what matters most: with an insulation value of 0.381 (Class B) and Class 3 air permeability, this overall provides noticeable protection against the low temperatures typical of cold rooms and freezers. A reflective stripe around the waist and silver reflective material in the design also improve visibility, which is useful when working in dimmer warehouse areas.
Practical features include a chest pocket on the left, two side patch pockets with flaps, a sleeve pocket with a zip compartment, and patch knee cushion pockets that add comfort during kneeling tasks. This makes the overall well suited to daily work in cold storage and freezer facilities, food processing, and general manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics roles where reliable cold protection over long shifts is essential.
