The PLANAM Basalt winter trousers from the Outdoor collection are designed for anyone who has to work outside through rain, snow and low temperatures. They suit tradespeople and skilled workers who need a durable pair of trousers that reliably keeps out cold and wet weather without compromising on freedom of movement or functionality.
The outer fabric is made from TPU-laminated polyester, combined with a polyester lining and padding. This combination keeps the trousers comfortably warm during long stints outdoors while still feeling light rather than bulky or stiff. The higher-cut back panel doubles as protection for the lower back when bending or crouching, a small detail that makes a real difference on site.
The membrane makes the trousers waterproof and windproof, while remaining breathable so that moisture can escape instead of building up inside. Waterproof zips on the side pockets and thigh pocket add further weather protection, keeping the interior dry even in heavy rain. Reflective piping on the front and back of the knee area also improves visibility in poor light conditions.
