The PLANAM Freezing Facility dungarees are built for anyone working regularly in cold storage or freezer environments where dependable thermal protection is essential. As part of the Cold Storage/Freezing Facility collection, they are designed specifically for the low temperatures found in warehousing, logistics and food production settings. The high back with stretchy braces allows full freedom of movement, whether lifting, bending or reaching throughout the shift.
The outer shell is made from 100% nylon, giving the dungarees a tough, durable exterior that copes well with demanding daily use. Underneath, a layer of polyester wadding combined with two layers of 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation, totalling around 320 g/m², provides the real warmth: the hollow-core fibres trap warm air without adding bulk, so the dungarees stay comfortable even when worn over other cold-weather layers. The blue lining completes the construction. Practical features for everyday work include a full-length, backed front zip closure, two side patch pockets with flaps, and patch knee cushion pockets, plus a side zip with flap for easy, convenient access.
When it comes to protection, the figures speak for themselves: thermal insulation is rated at 0.479 (B) – the higher this value, the longer the protection against cold lasts. Air permeability is rated Class 3. A reflective stripe in silver on the legs also improves visibility in the dim or poorly lit conditions typical of cold stores and freezer facilities.
This makes the dungarees particularly suitable for staff working in manufacturing, warehousing and logistics as well as the food industry, wherever extended periods are spent in cold storage or freezer environments and dependable cold protection matters.
