The Opti Flex® Winter Flex 5 winter gloves are built for anyone working outdoors in cold conditions who still needs reliable protection against cuts. The seamless 10-gauge knit gives a close, flexible fit more typical of lighter gloves, paired with insulation designed to keep hands warm even in hard frost.
The shell combines acrylic, cut-resistant fibre, polyamide and elastane in a mottled black finish. This mix of materials makes the glove both hard-wearing and comfortable to wear, without the stiff, bulky feel some winter gloves have. The sanded latex coating on the palm provides a firm, secure grip even when tools or materials are damp or oily, making the glove practical for tasks that call for precision as well as warmth.
The glove is tested to EN 388, EN 511 and EN 407. EN 388 covers mechanical risks including cuts, and here the cut resistance rated to EN ISO 13997 reaches Level D, reflecting an exceptionally cut-resistant material. EN 511 confirms cold protection, rated by the manufacturer down to -30 °C, while EN 407 covers contact heat protection, rated Level 2. That combination makes the glove suitable both for pure cold-weather work and for tasks that occasionally involve contact with warm surfaces.
