The Blaklader Multinorm Winter Parka APC 2 is built for anyone who needs reliable protection in cold and hazardous working conditions, from electricians to service technicians and tradespeople working outdoors or on exposed installations. This warm, lined parka combines insulation with a wide range of protective features while still offering practical details such as loops for gas detectors and adjustable cuffs.
The outer fabric is a durable cotton-polyester twill with antistatic properties and a weight of 350 g/m², making the parka tough enough for daily wear on demanding sites. The insulated lining keeps you warm even in low temperatures, and the water- and dirt-repellent surface stops moisture and grime from soaking in, which keeps the garment easier to maintain over time. The concealed, reinforced two-way metal zipper, adjustable waist and cuffs with hook-and-loop fastening let you fine-tune the fit for movement and changing weather.
This parka covers an unusually wide range of protection. It is certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 3 for high-visibility work, improving how well you're seen in traffic areas or low-light conditions. The antistatic finish meets EN 1149-5, dissipating electrostatic charge, while EN ISO 11612 provides protection against heat and flame and EN ISO 11611 covers welding work. EN 342 certifies it for use in cold environments, and EN 13034 provides limited protection against liquid chemicals. On top of that, it carries APC 2 arc-flash protection under EN 61482-2, relevant for anyone exposed to electric arc hazards.
With loops for gas detectors or a microphone, multiple pockets and the option to attach the separately available hood 2169, this parka is a strong fit for industrial sites, utilities and technical service roles where cold, visibility and multiple hazard types all come into play at once.
