The Inherent 1519 Steel work trousers from Blaklader are built for professionals working with molten iron or facing arc flash risks, such as in foundries, steel mills or welding environments. They belong to the 1519 quality range with an inherently flame-resistant fabric rated class E3, and carry a class 1 high-vis certification as well, making them suitable for jobs that also demand strong visibility.
The fabric is a blend of modacrylic, cotton, polyamide, aramid and an antistatic fibre component, woven at 320 g/m² in a sturdy twill construction. In practice this means trousers that stay comfortable to wear despite the technical fibre mix, hold their shape well, and thanks to the oil-, dirt- and water-repellent surface stay functional and presentable even in heavily soiling work. The adjustable leg width at the ankle, secured with a press stud, gives a snug fit over footwear, while the wide range of pockets – from the ruler and knife holder to the phone and ID pocket – makes them genuinely practical for tool-heavy jobs on site.
