The Blaklader Multinorm Inherent shirt is built for anyone working in mechanical industry, service or electrical trades who faces more than one hazard at a time. The yellow high-visibility panels across the shoulders and chest, without reflective tape, help the wearer stand out on site, while bellows pockets with flaps, a pen loop and an adjustable cuff make it a genuinely practical piece of workwear for daily use on site or in the workshop.
The fabric blend of modacrylic, cotton, aramid and polyamide with an antistatic component results in a tough yet wearable 200 g/m² material finished in ripstop, so it holds up well against everyday wear and tear without tearing easily. Because the shirt is entirely metal-free and uses plastic snap buttons instead, it is particularly suited to work near electrical equipment or heat sources, where metal parts would otherwise be a liability. The flame-resistant property is built into the fibre itself, so it does not wash out over time.
The shirt carries several certifications that together cover a wide range of hazards. EN ISO 11612 confirms protection against heat and flame, EN 61482-2 with an ATPV rating of 8.1 cal/cm² and an ELIM rating of 6.3 cal/cm² provides protection against the thermal effects of an electric arc, EN 13034 offers limited protection against chemical splashes, and EN 1149-5 uses antistatic properties to prevent uncontrolled electrostatic discharge.
