This bib overall is designed for anyone facing several hazards on the job at once: tradespeople, electricians, and road or construction workers get a multi-norm protective garment whose flame resistance is built directly into the fibre rather than applied as a coating. That means the protection stays intact wash after wash, since there's no surface treatment to wear off.
The fabric blend of Modacrylic, cotton, FR polyamide and aramid with an antistatic component creates a ripstop material that feels soft and flexible despite its protective role. In daily use that translates into strong tear resistance and an oil, dirt and water-repellent surface that keeps the trousers easier to keep clean even on messy jobs. The outer knee pad pockets are reinforced with CORDURA®/Kevlar®/Protal®, and the exposed pockets get an extra layer of material, which noticeably extends the garment's life in the areas that take the most wear. Elastic braces and an adjustable waist keep the fit comfortable through long shifts.
The overall carries certification to several standards, each covering a different risk: EN ISO 11612 addresses heat and flame protection, EN ISO 11611 covers welding work, EN 61482-2 protects against the thermal effects of an electric arc, EN 13034 covers exposure to certain chemicals, and EN 1149-5 provides antistatic properties. EN ISO 20471 class 1 adds road visibility, reinforced by flame-resistant reflective tape with double stitching. Together, this combination makes the overall a genuine multi-hazard garment for trades where heat, arc flash, chemical exposure and low visibility can all be a concern on the same job.
