Rather than being designed for a single type of protection, they cover a wide range of risks while staying practical to wear all day. The lightweight lining on the front sections adds an extra layer of reliability without making the garment bulky.
The fabric is an inherently flame-resistant blend of FR polyester, modacrylic and cotton with a small antistatic content, meaning the flame protection is built into the fibre itself and won't wash or wear out over time, which matters since the overalls are approved for industrial laundering at 60°C. Despite the technical construction, the material stays soft and flexible, and the CORDURA®, Kevlar® and Protal® reinforcements at the knees hold up to kneeling work without restricting movement. Elasticated braces and an adjustable waist add to everyday comfort, while the reinforced outer pockets are built with double fabric layers for durability on site.
The certification range on these overalls is unusually broad. They protect against welding hazards under EN ISO 11611, against heat and flame under EN ISO 11612, and offer antistatic protection under EN 1149. A standout feature is the IEC 61482-2 rating for APC 2, the higher protection class against the thermal effects of electric arc flash, making these overalls particularly suited to electricians and anyone working near live equipment. They also guard against liquid chemicals under EN 13034, meet high-visibility requirements under EN ISO 20471 class 2, and are certified under EN 14404 for kneeling work.
