The MAPA® Ultranitril 492 is a long nitrile glove designed for anyone handling diluted or concentrated pesticides who needs reliable protection for hands and forearms. At roughly 32 cm in length, it extends well beyond the wrist, making it suitable for tasks where splashes or extended contact with chemical agents are likely.
The green nitrile shell is lined with a 100% cotton flock lining. This lining makes the glove comfortable to wear, absorbs perspiration and makes putting it on and taking it off easier, all without compromising dexterity. Despite a material thickness of approximately 0.38 mm, the glove remains mechanically tough: the manufacturer reports excellent resistance to abrasion and puncture, translating into a longer working life. The textured palm adds secure grip even on wet or oily surfaces. Being silicone-free, the glove leaves no residue on metal sheets or glass ahead of painting, a real advantage for anyone working in surface finishing.
Certified to EN 388 for mechanical hazards and to EN 374 Type A, Category 3 for protection against chemicals and micro-organisms, the Ultranitril 492 is specifically built for handling pesticides according to ISO 18889 (G2). In practical terms, this means the glove withstands even concentrated crop protection products and provides a dependable barrier during prolonged or repeated contact.
