Product information "MAPA Temp-Ice 780"
The MAPA® Temp-Ice 780 is a combined cold and chemical protection glove designed for tasks where hands face both moisture or chemicals and low temperatures at the same time. At around 30 cm long with a straight cuff, it also protects the forearm, making it well suited to work in cold stores, food processing, or outdoor jobs in wet, cold weather.
Inside, a double jersey lining with fleece and an acrylic terry knit with brushed jersey provide lasting wearing comfort, absorbing moisture while keeping hands insulated against the cold. The outside features a grained PVC coating in orange at a thickness of approximately 0.85 mm, giving a secure grip on wet or oily surfaces while standing up to daily wear on the job.
The EN 388 and EN 374 Type B standards confirm mechanical resistance and protection against certain chemicals, while EN 511 certifies the glove's cold protection performance, supporting the stated insulation down to -10°C. Together these standards mean the Temp-Ice 780 covers several hazards that often occur together in cold, wet, or chemically exposed working conditions.
Supplied in cartons of 48 pairs, this glove is geared towards commercial buyers, suiting work in fish processing, cold and freezer storage, cleaning operations, or outdoor winter tasks. Available in sizes 9 and 10.
