The Roland hi-vis pilot jacket is built for anyone working outdoors in changing weather who needs to stay visible on the job, from road construction crews to logistics and site staff. The sleeves are removable, turning the jacket into a standalone hi-vis vest when needed, and the hood built into the collar means extra weather protection without carrying a separate piece.
The outer shell is 100% polyester Oxford fabric with a PU coating, and the seams are welded rather than stitched, giving the jacket a 2,000 mm water column rating that makes it genuinely windproof and waterproof. In practice that means rain and wind stay out while the fabric stays flexible and comfortable to move in. The fleece-lined collar adds warmth around the neck, and the hook-and-loop cuffs with knitted inner cuffs plus the knitted hem seal out draughts while letting the fit be adjusted to the wearer.
Worn complete with sleeves, the jacket meets EN ISO 20471 Class 3, the highest visibility class, meaning maximum conspicuity in low light or poor visibility such as roadside work near traffic; worn as a vest alone it meets Class 2. It also meets EN 343 Class 4/1/X for protection against wind and rain, while the base standard EN ISO 13688 confirms general requirements for protective clothing.
A generous set of pockets, including a zipped sleeve pocket, two flapped chest pockets with an attached pen and phone pocket on the right, side pockets and an inner pocket in the lining, gives plenty of room for tools and personal items. The zip-accessible emblem area in the lining also makes it a practical choice for businesses looking to brand their teams' workwear.
