Product information "High-Visibility Pilot Jacket Orange Tom"
The Orange Tom hi-vis pilot jacket is a 2-in-1 solution for anyone who needs to stay visible and protected outdoors in all weather conditions. The detachable sleeves let you convert the jacket into a warning vest in seconds, adapting easily to different weather situations and tasks. An integrated hood in the collar and a fleece-lined collar add extra comfort for demanding outdoor work.
The outer material, 100% polyester with an Oxford weave and PU coating, makes the jacket both windproof and waterproof, while the welded seams keep moisture from getting in at the seams themselves. With a water column rating of 2,000 mm, it stands up to prolonged rain, and the polyester lining and padding provide reliable warmth. The adjustable cuffs with Velcro fastening and knitted inner cuffs, along with the knitted hem, keep out cold drafts and allow the fit to be adjusted to personal preference.
The jacket meets EN ISO 20471 Class 3 for high visibility in daylight and darkness, with the detachable vest achieving Class 2 on its own – a practical feature for users who need different visibility levels depending on the task. It also meets EN 343 Class 4/1/X for protection against wind and water, while EN ISO 13688 covers the general requirements for protective clothing. In practice, this means reliable protection from rain and cold combined with strong visibility on roads and construction sites.
With several pockets, including a sleeve pocket, two chest pockets with flaps and a handy pen and phone pocket, the jacket offers plenty of storage for tools and personal items.
