Product information "High-Visibility Pilot Jacket Orange/Navy Otto"
The Otto hi-vis pilot jacket is a 2-in-1 solution for anyone working outdoors who needs to stay visible and protected in changeable weather. The sleeves can be removed, turning the jacket into a standalone hi-vis vest whenever conditions or temperatures change during the day. An integrated hood tucked into the collar and a fleece-lined collar add extra comfort on cold or rainy days.
The outer fabric is PU-coated Oxford polyester with a 2,000 mm water column, and the seams are taped for extra security. In practice this means reliable protection against rain and moisture from outside, without the jacket feeling heavy or stiff to move in. The polyester wadding and lining provide warmth without restricting freedom of movement. The cuffs can be adjusted individually with hook-and-loop fasteners, while the knitted hem keeps out draughts. With six pockets in total, including a sleeve pocket, two chest pockets with pen and phone pockets, side pockets and an inner pocket, the jacket offers plenty of storage for tools and personal items.
The jacket meets EN ISO 20471 class 3, the standard for high-visibility clothing that ensures wearers are clearly seen in traffic or near moving machinery; when only the vest is worn on its own, it meets class 2. It also complies with EN 343 class 4/1/X for protection against rain and water vapour resistance, as well as the general requirements for protective clothing under EN ISO 13688.
Thanks to the detachable sleeves and practical pocket layout, the jacket is well suited to road workers, logistics staff and construction workers who spend long days outdoors and need to switch easily between jacket and vest depending on the weather.
