The Manfred hi-vis PU rain jacket is built for anyone who needs to stay visible and dry outdoors in wind and rain, from road workers to traffic controllers and rail or municipal crews. It comes in sizes S to 4XL and features a striking fluorescent yellow finish with black contrast panels for maximum visibility.
The outer material is PU coated onto a polyester backing at around 190 g/m², making the jacket noticeably light and supple without restricting movement, since the fabric stretches in both length and width. The seams are double-welded for lasting waterproofness, and the reflective stripes themselves are welded rather than sewn on, so there are no extra seams where moisture could get in. A concealed front zip with additional press-stud fastenings, a hood with drawcord, elasticated cuffs with press studs, and a drawcord hem all allow the jacket to be adjusted for a close, weatherproof fit. Two flap pockets with hook-and-loop closures add storage without compromising water resistance.
With a water column of 8,000 mm, the jacket withstands prolonged rain while remaining breathable, so moisture doesn't build up on the inside. EN ISO 20471 Class 3 represents the highest level of high-visibility protection, ensuring the wearer is spotted early even in poor light. EN 343 Class 4/1/X confirms protection against rain and wind, while EN ISO 13688 covers the general requirements for protective clothing. This combination makes the jacket well suited to roadside work, construction sites, and other outdoor jobs where both visibility and weather protection matter.
