The Flexatex Chem bib and brace trousers are designed for work environments where moisture and chemical exposure are part of daily routine. As part of the Flexatex range within the all-weather protection segment, they suit anyone who regularly handles aggressive liquids or works in persistently wet conditions while still needing freedom of movement.
The fabric is hard-wearing, breathable, windproof and water-repellent, engineered so that water beads off the surface rather than soaking in. Welded seams add a further barrier against moisture ingress. Exceptional tear and tensile strength means the garment holds up to tough daily wear, while the soil-release finish keeps it easier to maintain on site. A half-elastic waistband, part-elastic buckle-fastened braces and press-stud adjustable hems let the fit move with the wearer rather than against them.
Certified to EN 13034, the trousers offer protection against limited contact with liquid chemicals and are also resistant to 10% sodium hydroxide. An anti-fungal treatment helps prevent mould growth on the fabric, a useful property for anyone working long hours in damp conditions. CE certification confirms the garment meets the required standards for personal protective equipment.
