The Bizflame Work bib and brace trousers are built for anyone whose job brings them into contact with heat, sparks or open flame. The two-tone design with clearly visible, double-stitched reflective strips on the legs also adds visibility on building sites and in industrial halls. Seven pockets, including a rule pocket, chest pocket and a flapped rear pocket, keep tools and personal items close at hand without getting in the way of work.
Construction is built to last: triple-stitched, taped seams stand up to heavy use, a sturdy brass zip avoids the wear points of plastic alternatives, and an adjustable hook-and-loop fastening at the hem together with elasticated shoulder straps let the fit adjust to the wearer rather than the other way round. Height-adjustable knee pad pockets offer two positioning options, useful for tasks carried out while kneeling.
The real purpose of these trousers is protection: they shield against radiant, convective and contact heat and meet Class 2 for welding protection, meaning a higher level of protection than standard requirements. Certified protection against molten metal splash makes them suitable for welding work, while ATEX suitability allows use in explosive atmospheres. The fabric is rated UPF 40+ and blocks 98% of UV rays, an advantage for outdoor work. Certified to CE Cat III, these trousers are aimed at welders, metalworkers and anyone who needs reliable protection from thermal hazards on the job.
