The Wildland FR Overall FR98 from the Bizflame Wildland Fire collection is built for the demands of wildfire response, where wearers face intense radiant and convective heat. As a one-piece coverall it eliminates gaps between jacket and trousers, making it a purpose-built garment for firefighters and personnel tackling wildland fires.
The fabric is flame-resistant and engineered to be lightweight, so the overall doesn't add unnecessary bulk during long, physically demanding operations in high heat. Double stitching gives the garment the toughness needed for rugged terrain, while the double-layered, reinforced knee protection targets the area that takes the most punishment. Ribbed knitted cuffs at the wrists and ankles add warmth and comfort, and a two-way zip allows quick access to equipment worn underneath.
The fabric also carries a UPF 40+ rating and blocks 98% of UV rays, a benefit that matters during long hours working outdoors in direct sun on top of the heat protection itself. The overall is CE-CAT III certified, UKCA marked, and suitable for use in ATEX environments, meaning areas where explosive atmospheres may occur. A yellow and silver sew-on reflective band improves visibility in the field and in poor light conditions.
Practical touches such as a radio pocket with matching loops, several easy-access storage pockets, and a chin guard at the front collar round out the FR98 as a well-considered piece of kit for firefighters, forestry personnel, and anyone deployed on wildfire response duty.
