This softshell jacket is cut specifically for women who work in hazardous environments such as the petrochemical, oil and gas industries. Its women's fit, with pre-shaped sleeves, cuffs and an extended back, keeps the jacket comfortable and unrestrictive even when worn with other protective gear. Two gas loops let you attach gas detectors or oxygen meters, a detail that shows how closely the jacket is designed around real working conditions.
The three-layer softshell fabric is both metal- and polyester-free, made from a blend of modacrylic, cotton, polyamide, polyurethane and aramid. This combination is inherently flame-resistant, meaning the protection is built into the fibres themselves rather than a coating that could wear off. The outer surface repels wind, water, oil and dirt, while the fabric's breathability keeps the jacket comfortable during physical work. Elasticated sleeve cuffs, an elastic hem and a concealed plastic zip add to the considered construction throughout.
The jacket covers a wide range of protective requirements: EN ISO 11612 guards against heat and flames, EN ISO 11611 protects against welding hazards, IEC 61482-2 addresses the thermal effects of an electric arc, and EN 13034 provides protection against limited chemical splash. EN 1149-5 gives it antistatic properties relevant in explosive atmospheres, while EN ISO 20471 class 2 ensures high visibility where warning clothing is required. Reflective strips on the shoulders and sleeves reinforce this visibility, including in low-light conditions.
This makes the jacket well suited to female tradespeople, electricians, road and construction workers, and service staff working in environments where multiple hazards overlap, such as welding, electrical risks or explosive atmospheres.
