The Pinie chainsaw safety trousers are built for anyone who works with a chainsaw and needs leg protection they can rely on. The outer fabric, a blend of polyester and cotton, provides a sturdy yet comfortable base for all-day wear, while the cut-protection layer of polyester and polypropylene delivers the resistance needed against a moving chainsaw chain. The polyester lining adds to wearing comfort over long shifts. An elastic gusset in the crotch area flexes with movement, so the trousers do not restrict climbing, bending or long strides. Two patch side pockets, a rear patch pocket with flap, and a dedicated ruler pocket keep tools and small items within easy reach.
The trousers are certified to EN ISO 11393 Part 2, Class 1, with Form A protective coverage, meaning the cut protection sits at the front of the legs, the area most exposed to injury when working with a chainsaw.
