The Green Erle chainsaw protective bib pants are designed for anyone working with a chainsaw who needs gear they can rely on. The fixed, adjustable waistband distributes the weight of the pants evenly across shoulders and hips, keeping them comfortable through long shifts without digging in or slipping.
Made from 100% polyester, the outer fabric is water-, oil- and dirt-repellent, so the pants stay low-maintenance and ready for action even around wet timber or chain oil. Zippered ventilation openings on the back of the thighs improve airflow during strenuous work, while a stretch insert in the crotch adds real freedom of movement for climbing, bending and long strides. Sturdy YKK® zippers round off the build quality, and a smart detail sets these pants apart: the cut-resistant inner layer isn't fixed to the hem, so the outer fabric can be repaired after damage instead of replacing the whole garment.
The pants are certified to EN ISO 11393 Part 2, Class 1, Protection Zone Form A, which covers the front leg area during chainsaw use. They also carry FPA recognition, KWF standard approval and a DPLF-tested cut-resistant layer – marks that forestry professionals and safety inspectors look for when assessing reliable protection on the job. Four pockets, including a zippered bib pocket and a dedicated ruler pocket, keep tools and small items within easy reach. Available from size 24 to 110 and supplied in packs of 5, these pants suit individual tradespeople as well as outfitting entire forestry crews.
